San Francisco is characterized by moderate-wet winters and warm-dry summers. Its weather is greatly influenced by the cool current of the Pacific Ocean, as it is surrounded on three sides by water. Average temperatures in summer peak at 70°F (21 °C) and Winters are mild, with daytime highs near 60°F (15 °C), and lows almost never reach freezing temperatures.

ECONOMY: The backbone of San Francisco economy is “Tourism.” is the backbone of the San Francisco economy. Its representation in music, film, and popular culture has made the city and its landmarks recognizable worldwide. San Francisco's economy has become tied to the Silicon Valley to the south; it also shares a need for highly educated workers with specialized skills. It has been implanting itself as a biotechnology and biochemical hub and research center.

EDUCATION: San Francisco is the home to the several noteworthy schools; San Francisco State University is part of the California State University system, located at the Lake Merced, the City College Of San Francisco and many more Universities with different focuses. San Francisco also posses standard Public and Private schools in every area.

SPORTS: San Francisco hosts and trains for National Football League(NFL), Super Bowling, NCCA men's Basketball and many more.

Real Estate Dec, 06: Prices of Single Family Homes (SFHs) were down for the first time this year, at San Francisco. The median price was $825,000. The median price for condos, lofts, coops and TICs was $675,000 and the median price for 2-4 unit building was $1,300,000.

The region of the $500,000 median-priced home just extended in the Northern California to cover the entire San Francisco Bay Area.

On the County level, four counties still bear median prices below 500,000, but five counties bears median price higher than 500,000. In Marin, San Francisco and San Mateo counties, the median price of almost all homes is higher than $600,000.
