Columbus is the capital city of Ohio and is the state's biggest city. Columbus is the seat of Franklin County. The complex in the town comprised of Grandview Heights, Upper Arlington, Worthington, Bexley and Whitehall, Columbus is the center of the metropolitan statistical area which includes Delaware, Fairfield, Franklin, Licking, Madison, Pickaway and Union counties. Columbus was developed in the nineteenth century as an important stop on the National Highway and as a link in the nation's canal system. It was chosen as the state capital by the Ohio General Assembly because of its central location. Today, the city is the principal in research, education, technology, and insurance. Magazine Named Columbus as "clean, with good schools, reasonably priced housing, and a college-town atmosphere that helps attract and retain young people. Population as per 2003 Census was estimated as 728,432. The Nick name of the city is “the arch city,” “the discovery city.”

ECONOMY: There is a large government presence in the Columbus as it is the capital of Ohio state. Including city, state and jobs at the public Ohio State University, the government and non-profit jobs provides the largest single source of employment within Columbus. Columbus is also a ground for the Chemical Abstracts Service, consequently making it one of the world's leading centers for scientific information distribution and to the Bttelle Memorial Institute, a largest research and development facility. Apart from this its economy depends on many others factors.

EDUCATION: Colleges and Universities
Columbus is the base of The Ohio State university, which is one of the largest college campuses in the United States. Other institutions located in Columbus and its metro area are Columbus State Community College, Franklin University, Ohio Dominican University, the Columbus College of Art and Design, Ohio Wesleyan University in Delaware, Capital University, Denison University, Otterbein College, DeVry University. Columbus nurtures young ones through the Private and Public Schools.

SPORTS OF INTERESTS: Arena Football, Baseball League, soccer and Hockey and other local games.

Real Estate: The Central Ohio housing market is slightly lowered or slowed down over the past year. The listing has been increased and the active buyers are considerably reduced that led to increase in market time and considerable decrease in overall property value. There are certain segments of the local market which are continuously experiencing some appreciation gains over this period, but the local trend has been downward during 2006. many of them considered these trends as short term and positive price appreciation is expected to comeback in the further year based on the fore-casted model of the area. According to the Columbus Board of Realtors the inventory remains 15% higher than the last year .
